Aubrey Jackson Soller is a sociologist who examines how economic, political, and gender-stratified contexts shape wellbeing, particularly for women and girls. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Public Health at UMBC and holds an affiliate appointment in the Department of Gender, Women's, and Sexualities Studies. Her research covers topics such as intimate partner violence, sexual assault, abortion, and adolescent health-risk behaviors. She earned her PhD in Sociology from The Ohio State University and is a parent to three young children.
