Dr. Kate Riera is an Assistant Professor of Human Services in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences at the University of Delaware. She completed her Ph.D. in Family Science at the University of Maryland. She teaches a variety of undergraduate courses focused on Counseling and Mentoring, Interpersonal Relationships, and Families. Her research interests include marginalized families, adolescent health and well-being, and the process of the transition to adulthood for adolescents and their parents.
