Kevin Shafer, Ph.D. is an associate professor of sociology at Brigham Young University and adjunct associate professor of Health, Aging, & Society at McMaster University. His research focuses on the facilitators of and barriers to father involvement, with a particular emphasis on masculinity and health. He conducts this work in both the United States and Canada.
